WELDING CABLE
1. Construction and Material:

- Welding cables must be able to withstand the high temperatures generated by the welding process. They are typically rated for temperatures ranging from -50°C to 90°C or even higher in some cases.
- Welding cables come in various voltage ratings to handle different types of welding machines. Most cables are designed for use in systems ranging from 600V to 2000V, depending on the application.
- The gauge or size of the cable is important in determining the amount of current it can safely carry. Larger gauge cables (e.g., 4/0, 2/0, 1/0) are used for higher current applications, while smaller gauges are used for lower current needs.
