Crude Iso Butyl Alcohol (IBA) is an industrial-grade by-product or intermediate solvent obtained during the production or purification of pure Iso Butyl Alcohol. Unlike its refined counterpart, Crude IBA contains a mixture of isomers, minor alcohol impurities, water content, and possibly traces of aldehydes or ketones. It is not suitable for food, pharmaceutical, or high-purity chemical applications but is widely used in secondary industrial processes.
