Curing applications use heat to create a chemical reaction to cure a finish or adhesive onto a product, or to solidify a plastic or epoxy. The result is a harder, tougher, more stable material or coating that resists temperature, humidity, and/or corrosion.Conveyor ovens move food products through a heated chamber at a constant speed. Conveyor belt speeds and temperatures are adjustable for consistent cooking of a high volume of similar products. The food is cooked using forced air impingement, radiant heat, or infrared heat.In order to bake the products, ovens use energy generation sources, like the combustion of fuels such as gas or oil, or electricity. The released available energy from these sources is transferred to the products by means of radiation, conduction, and/or convection.Curing is any of various food preservation and flavoring processes of foods such as meat, fish and vegetables, by the addition of salt, with the aim of drawing moisture out of the food by the process of osmosis.
