A currency-counting machine is a machine that counts money—either stacks of banknotes or loose collections of coins. Counters may be purely mechanical or use electronic components. The machines typically provide a total count of all money, or count off specific batch sizes for wrapping and storage.Once a stack of bills has been placed into the hopper on the top of the machine, the bill on the bottom of the stack activates a sensor which triggers the feed-in roller. The feed-in roller takes this bill and then successively passes it to a secondary roller operating at a much higher speed.There are many ways to measure an exchange rate.
