Daly Active Balancer Daly 8S-1Amp The Daly 8S-1Amp Active Balancer is a precision-engineered balancing module designed specifically for 8-cell Li-ion and LiFePO4 battery packs. It uses advanced active balancing technology to intelligently redistribute energy between cells, ensuring equal voltage levels and improving overall battery pack health. Battery imbalance is a common issue caused by differences in cell capacity, internal resistance, and voltage. Over time, these inconsistencies can lead to certain cells being overcharged or deeply discharged, which accelerates cell degradation and shortens the life of the entire pack. The Daly 8S-1Amp addresses this problem by transferring energy from cells with higher voltage to those with lower voltage. It delivers a continuous balancing current of up to 1 amp, keeping each cell within optimal operating parameters. Unlike passive balancers, which simply burn off excess energy as heat, the Daly 8S-1Amp utilizes active balancing through an internal energy storage mechanism. This method ensures high efficiency (>92%) while minimizing power loss and thermal stress. As a result, the battery pack remains balanced, more efficient, and lasts longer.
