Delton Cables manufactures a wide range of instrumentation and signal cables specifically designed for reliable signal transmission in industrial process control systems, chemical plants, and petrochemical industries. These cables are engineered to handle analog and digital signals with high accuracy while resisting electrostatic noise and crosstalk. Individual and Overall Shielded Cables: Feature stranded or solid copper conductors with various insulation options (PE, PVC, XLPE, Silicon). Each pair or triad is individually shielded with Mylar/Al Mylar and a drain wire, then further shielded overall. Overall Shielded Cables: These cables provide a single layer of shielding for the entire assembly of cores, pairs, or quads. They are available in sizes from 0.5 sq.mm to 2.5 sq.mm and up to 61 pairs/triads. Industrial Braided Cables: Designed for high flexibility, these use Class 5 annealed bare copper conductors and tinned copper braiding for durability in dynamic applications. Jelly Filled Cables: Primarily used in telecommunications or underground signal paths, these unarmoured or armoured cables feature a petroleum jelly filling to prevent moisture ingress. . Conductor Material: Solid, stranded, or flexible annealed bare or tinned copper. Operating Temperature: Ranges typically from -30°C to +70°C. Voltage Grade: Common instrumentation cables are rated up to 1100V. Shielding: Uses aluminium polyester tape with a stranded tinned copper drain wire (typically 0.5 mm²) for maximum noise rejection. Armouring Options: Available as unarmoured (Type 1) or armoured (Type 2) with galvanized steel round wire, strip, or wire braiding.
