Di-Tertiary Butyl Hydroquinone is used as an inhibitor, antioxidant, and stabilizer. It is an organic aromatic compound. It is also useful as an antioxidant for rubber products, a stabilizer, and an anti-skinning agent in paints. It is used as a synthetic food antioxidant and as a food preservative.
