DIDW Centrifugal Fans are double the width of a conventional fan, they are essentially 2 fan sets back to back with the adjoining case wall removed. This has the advantage of a smaller overall footprint and only one motor is required.A centrifugal blower makes use of rotating impellers that are attached to the fan wheel, which is set within the exterior housing. The blades catch air while spinning and have the ability to “throw” the air out of the outlet at roughly a 90 degree angle from which the air was taken in through the inlet.
