Utilizing the conventional cold chamber die casting process, the aluminum is first ladled into the machine. A robot extracts the parts where they are quenched and then transitions them through a dryer to blow off the excess fluid. From there, the parts are moved on to the trim press.A die casting machine running with automation has a faster and more stable cycle time, as well as a more consistent spray pattern. A consistent cycle time results in a balanced die temperature which yields longer die steel life and less scrap.The process is called diecasting due to its using dies. The dies are the steel mold made majorly by CNC machining to which you inject the liquid metal. It has two halves: the fixed half, which is stationary and attached to the casting machine and the ejector half which is movable.
