Function: Acts as a shut-off valve ("fuel tap") between the diesel fuel tank and fuel line, allowing the operator to turn fuel flow ON or OFF — essential for maintenance, transport, storage, or safety shut-off. Integrated filter/strainer ensures that diesel delivered to the fuel line is free from large impurities, protecting downstream components such as fuel filter, pump or injectors. Construction & Features: Valve body designed to fit fuel tank outlet of Mahindra DI-series tractors (commonly used on models like 265 DI, 555 DI series etc). Manually operated ON / OFF tap; rugged construction suitable for diesel and agricultural-tractor use. Includes built-in screen/strainer to block contaminants — helps maintain clean fuel flow and protects the injection system. Standard sizing and thread/adaptor arrangement — compatible for direct mount on compatible fuel tanks designed for DI-series tractors. Compatibility: Designed for Mahindra DI-series tractors — particularly those listed under "fuel system / Mahindra Fuel Cock" fitment lists (various DI-models). Suitable as a replacement for original fuel-cock/filter assembly in fuel tanks of Mahindra DI tractors. Usage Instructions / Notes: For installation: ensure proper orientation, tighten securely to prevent leaks; check sealing (rubber gasket/washer) before use. For maintenance: if diesel flow is interrupted or engine performance is poor — inspect and clean the strainer/filter; debris or sediment buildup common in tractor-fuel systems may clog the strainer.
