Diesel Tank Cock (Fuel Cock) Massey J Series (241):- Function: Acts as a shut-off valve for the fuel line to the engine. When closed, it stops fuel flow from the tank — useful for servicing, transport, or storage. When open, it allows diesel to flow from the tank to the fuel filter/injection pump — ensuring proper and continuous fuel supply for engine operation. Construction & Features: Robust valve body designed for durable, leak-free sealing under standard diesel-tank pressure. Precision-engineered to match OEM specifications for the J-Series (MF 241 DI) fuel tank system — ensuring perfect fit and reliable operation. Simple, manually operated valve (ON/OFF), compatible with tractor-fuel systems that rely on gravity/pressure feed (common in agricultural tractors). Compatibility: Specifically suited for tractors of the J-Series 241 (MF 241 DI) — whose fuel tank capacity is 47 litres. Also compatible with other similar models within the same manufacturer's range where the fuel tank and fuel-cock mounting is same/spec-matched. Usage Notes: Must be installed in correct orientation on the fuel tank outlet. Before draining fuel or performing maintenance on fuel system (filter change, injector pump work etc.), ensure the cock is in "OFF" position to prevent fuel spillage. After maintenance, open gently to ensure fuel flows properly without air locks or leaks.
