Product Details
The transmitter operates by sensing the pressure difference between two pressure ports, commonly identified as the high-pressure (H) and low-pressure (L) connections. The internal sensing element detects the difference between the two applied pressures, and the instrument's electronic circuitry converts this measurement into a standardized output signal for monitoring, indication, or control purposes. Depending on the model, the output may be provided as an analogue signal, such as 4–20 mA or 0–10 V, or through a compatible digital communication interface. The Differential Pressure Transmitter (DPT) is an electronic measurement instrument designed to measure the difference in pressure between two points within a system and convert the measured differential pressure into a proportional electrical output signal. It is widely used in heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems, industrial process applications, cleanrooms, laboratories, and building automation systems for continuous pressure monitoring and control.In cleanrooms, pharmaceutical facilities, hospitals, laboratories, and other controlled environments, the instrument can monitor differential pressure between adjacent rooms or areas. This information helps operators verify whether the required pressure relationships are being maintained to support contamination control and the intended direction of airflow. When connected to a building management system (BMS) or suitable monitoring controller, the transmitter can provide continuous measurement data and support alarms or automatic control actions when configured limits are exceeded.
