Since these air compressors don't require intermediary pulleys, the motor's speed directly correlates to the compressor's. With a more straightforward design, direct-drive air compressors offer many benefits.Direct drive air compressors do not have a belt or pulley system, as they are powered by a crankshaft connected directly to the motor. The crankshaft's direct connection to the compressor causes the pump to rotate at the same speed as the motor. The most significant benefit to this design is its lack of wear parts.
