Disc ridging can be included in conservation tillage technology which is used to offset agricultural losses related to low rainfall and variations in rainfall. Runoff is greatly reduced due to ridging and infiltration rates are increased. ‘CROPKING' disc ridger has two adjustable discs on heavy duty frame; angled to form a wide ‘V' shape. The discs can be adjusted to give required size and shape of the ridge and can be set parallel to form running wheels. The unit looks compact and the draft requirement is less than that required for conventional tractor mounted mould board or disc plough.
