The stages in this process comprise grinding the kernels into small particles, heating (cooking), and extracting the oil using an oilseed expeller or petroleum-derived solvent. The oil then requires clarification in a filter press or by sedimentation.Most machine oils have a mineral oil base. Synthetic oils are man-made oils. They contain some of the same petroleum-based products that mineral oil is made from. They are used when you need a stable oil that offers high thermal resistance and a high viscosity index.Engine oil is comprised of two basic components--base oils and additives. The base oils constitute 70-90 percent of the total and are created from natural gas or crude oil, while additives round out the remaining 10-30 percent and can be variety of things. These additives include among other things: Dispersants.Some of the most common oilseeds which yield oil are Groundnut, Soya, Sunflower, Sesame, Coconut, Cottonseed, Rapeseed, Mustard, Linseed, Palm Kernel etc. As the name suggests, Oil Mill Machinery is the machinery specially for obtaining and milling out the Oils.
