Product Details
Dow Corning 732 multi-purpose sealant is a one-component sealant/adhesive that cures at room temperature when exposed to the moisture in the air. When undergoing the acetoxy cure system, the product transforms from a non-sag paste to a tough and flexible rubber that adheres to many substrates. It is stable and flexible from - 60 to +180 degree celsius (-76 to +356 degree fahrenheit), with short peaks up to +205 degree celsius (401 degree fahrenheit). It has excellent dielectric properties. The product complies with MIL-A-46106 and FDA 177.2600. After 24 hours (at room temperature and 50 percent relative humidity) it will have a cure depth of about 3 mm. Limited atmospheric moisture and lower humidity levels will extend cure time. When stored at 32 degree celsius (90 degree fahrenheit) the product's shelf life is 900 days from the date of its manufacture.
