DIRECT TENSION INDICATOR WASHER DTI Washers are manufactured as per ASTM F959. Direct tension indicator washers or DTI washers are manufactured in 8.8 DTI's are like little individual weigh scales, which measure the bolt tension developed during tightening, regardless of the torque resistance of the bolt. By far the simplest method, a DTI is put on one or the other end of all bolts, and after snugging the joint by partially (but not fully) compressing the DTI, all the DTI's are "crushed" to the point where a feeler gage cannot be inserted half way aroundSpecifications:· Size: 16mm - 36mm· Thickness: 2.5MM -- 4MM· Finish: Black,Phosphated, Hot dip galvanised, zinc plated· GRADE 8 & 10HARDNESS GRADE 8 HRC 24-32 GRADE 10 HRC 33-39
