The "E2209" indicates that the wire is intended for welding UNS S31803 and S32205 duplex stainless steels, which are alloys containing a balanced microstructure of austenite and ferrite. These steels are known for their high strength and excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion, especially in chloride-rich environments. The "T1" means it's a tubular wire with a flux core, and the "-1" suffix signifies that it is suitable for all-position welding using 100% CO₂ shielding gas.
