Product Details
An electric chain hoist is an electrically powered hoist that can be used for lifting a variety of loads, usually with a maximum capacity of around 30 Tonnes. Applications are varied – from rigging, to production lines, to small machine shops, to overhead cranes, electric chain hoists can be used successfully. Electric chain hoists have an induction motor and a brake to ensure the load is held when lifting (enabling heavy objects/loads to be lifted safely). The motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy which can then lift the load/weight.
