A 3-way motorized ball valve is operated by an electric actuator that rotates the ball inside the valve to control the flow of fluid and gas. The ball has a hole drilled into it that allows media to flow through it. The ball is positioned within the valve body and held in place by two seats. A seal is installed against the ball to prevent leakage. When the ball is rotated to a certain position, it aligns with the flow path, allowing the fluid to pass through. Rotating the ball to a different position will then block the flow path, preventing the fluid from passing through. By using an electric actuator to control the position of the ball, the flow of fluid can be easily and accurately controlled. L-Port Electric Ball Valves An L-Port, or L-Type, 3way electric ball valve has an L-shaped flow pattern.
