Engaging Roll: If using a shaft-style clamp, the operator inserts a handling shaft through the roll's core and onto the machine's lifting fork. If using fork/cradle grippers, the operator adjusts the forks to cradle the roll's outer circumference, then activates the clamp until snug. Lifting: By pressing the "lift" button on the handle, the electric motor powers a hydraulic (or wire-rope) system that raises the clamp/fork, lifting the roll to the desired height—often up to 2.5–3 meters. Transport & Stacking: Once lifted, the operator drives the stacker to the target location—such as a storage rack or skid—and, if stacking, aligns the roll precisely. Releasing the lift button or using the "lower" control gently sets the roll into place.
