Elgi Equipments screw air compressor is a rotary positive-displacement compressor engineered for continuous industrial operation. It compresses air using two precisely machined interlocking helical rotors (male and female screws) housed within a close-tolerance casing. As the rotors rotate: Atmospheric air enters the inlet port. Air becomes trapped in the cavities between the rotors. The trapped volume progressively reduces along the rotor length. Compressed air is discharged at the outlet into the plant air network. Technical Characteristics Continuous duty capability – Designed for 24/7 operation. High flow rate (CFM output) – Suitable for medium to large industrial loads. Stable pressure delivery – Minimal pulsation compared to reciprocating units. Low vibration & noise levels – Due to rotary motion and balanced components. Energy efficiency – Optimized air-end design reduces specific power consumption.
