Environmental Stress Cracking Apparatus (ESCR-93) is a device used to assess the resistance of plastic materials to environmental stress cracking (ESC). It exposes samples to controlled stress and environmental conditions to simulate real-world usage, helping predict material lifespan and performance.As per ------- ASTM D1693Environmental Stress Cracking Apparatus (ESCR-93) This Apparatus Consists of the following : Stainless steel water bath heated to specify temperature, which is maintained by a Digital Temperature Controller cum Indicator. A stainless steel tray holds the Mega test tube containing Egapole Solution and test specimens inside the bath. Specimen nicking device. Specimen holder (U-channel) Specimens cutting die.
