Product Details
ERNiCu-7 is a nickel-based welding electrode or filler metal specifically designed for gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW/TIG) and gas metal arc welding (GMAW/MIG). It is primarily used for welding nickel-copper alloys, such as Monel 400 and Monel K-500, which are known for their excellent resistance to corrosion, particularly in marine and chemical environments. ERNiCu-7 is composed mainly of nickel and copper, with small amounts of other elements like iron and manganese to improve welding performance. This electrode provides good resistance to seawater, salts, and acids, making it ideal for use in industries like marine engineering, chemical processing, and oil and gas. It produces welds with good strength, ductility, and corrosion resistance, and is also commonly used for joining dissimilar metals, such as nickel-copper alloys to carbon steel or other nickel-based alloys.
