Auto K 400/600 is a synergic thyristorised power source for MIG/MAG welding. It is part of the Auto K family of equipment and is useful for semi-automatic and mechanized welding applications in medium and heavy fabrication industries1. The machine has a digital V/A meter, fully thyristorised hex phase control, stick out control, crater control, and fresh tip treatment (FTT) that eliminates globule formation at the wire tip during weld stop1. The machine also has a quick arc start, gas pre-flow setting, choice of CO2 or Argon Mix, self-hold ON function, servo feeder with quick changeover mechanism, and 4 roll drive option1. The machine is suitable for solid and flux cored wires and has a separable remote control1. The machine comes with a specially engineered outstanding welding torch and components for performance and longer operational life1. The machine has a welding current range of 60-400A for Auto K 400 and 60-600A for Auto K 600, and 9 synergic programs1. The machine has a weight of 142 kg for Auto K 400 and 180 kg for Auto K 6001. The machine has a forced air cooling system and an insulation class of H1. The machine is manufactured by ESAB2.
