ESD-Safe Workbench - 1200 mm, 150 kg, MS measures 1200 mm in length and supports a weight of 150 kg. Manufacturers build the frame from mild steel plus apply a powder coated finish to the metal surfaces. It includes a rubber mat that dissipates static electricity and a specific point to attach a wrist strap. There is an overhead shelf, a sliding tray for a keyboard but also a board with holes for hanging tools. The workbench prevents the buildup of electrostatic discharge during the assembly of printed circuit boards. It is suitable for use in the production of automotive electronics, defense equipment and telecommunications hardware. By using those features, the station remains organized as well as protects sensitive electronic components from electrical damage.
