Evacuated Tube Collectors comprised of double-layered borosilicate glass tubes evacuated to provide insulation. The absorbing material coated in the outer wall of the inner tube helps in the absorption of solar radiation and later transfers the heat to the water that flows through the inner tube.ETC Water Heater or Evacuated Tube Collectors Water Heater comprises a row of parallel SS tubes. Supported on a frame, they are connected to a header pipe. The header pipe is used in place of a blackened absorbing plate used in Flat Plate Collectors.
