Principle :  The testing machine is operated hydraulically with electronic actuation of solenoid valve.The help of electric motor performs driving.Operations : The machine consists of two main units.compression, transverse, shear, wire rope test for metals and other materials.1. Loading unit : The Robust 6 pillar design for better alignment and center. Front open cross head for front loading of the sample and hydraulic gripping. This consists of motor with chain, ram table coupled hydraulic cylinder. The two crossheads are upper & lower are fixed to unit duly lapped for ease of the movement. These are provided for the tension, compression, bend tests. The specimen can be held in the upper – lower crossheads to perform tension, bend & compression tests. The loading unit is equipped with hydraulic cylinder piston to actuate the ram movement.The signals are controlled by microprocessors and feedback is also given to the main panel to control the displacement.Limit switch is provided for safety limiting of the ram stroke. Hydraulic system consists of motor, pump, cylinder and piston. Safety relief valve is provided for additional safety. Application: Computerized Universal Testing Machine is designed for testing metals and other materials under tension, compression, bending, transverse and shear loads. Hardness test on metals can also conducted.Principle of Operation : Here UTM Right Control Valve is in close loop mode as per mode selection. Machine consists of Straining Unit This consists of a cylinder motor with chain & sprocket drive and a table coupled with the ram of the hydraulic cylinder, mounted on to a robust base.
