Clear Aqua Offers high quality multimedia filters effective removal of physical impurity by using various grade of� filtering media. The physical impurities of raw water like suspended solids, dirt, dust, & all visible particles are removed in Multi Grade Filter up to 30 micron. Multi grade filter is a depth filter that makes use of coarse and fine media mixed together in a fixed proportion. This arrangement produces a filter bed with adequate pore dimensions for retaining both large and small suspended particles. This filter performs at a substantially higher specific flow rate than conventional filters.The filter media is cleaned by backwash system. After back-washing the filter is rinsed with raw water and after the required quality of water is achieved the filter is put back into service. Depending on the filtered water quality required back-washing is either done with raw water or filtered water.
