Mounted on pedestals or on bagging conveyors, fixed, large, sewing heads are used in high volume (6-20 bags/minute) bag closing applications.Even though more than 95% of the sewing machines used in factories are rectangular in shape and of standard size of 42” X 21”, there have been instances of lockstitch and overlock sewing machines being of 47” X 22” and 54” X 28” dimensions.
