A Filter/Regulator and Lubricator combination unit is used in compressed air systems to deliver clean, regulated and lubricated air to pneumatic control valves, actuators, pneumatic tools, and HVAC systems (and other downstream products).It compares the output voltage with a precise reference voltage and adjusts the pass device to maintain a constant output voltage. A switching regulator converts the dc input voltage to a switched voltage applied to a power MOSFET or BJT switch.
