Product Details
ire Retardant Sealant is a one-component, highly qualified, acrylic-based firestop sealant that provides movement capability in fire-rated joint applications. It has 4 hours fire rating under BS EN 1366-4:2006. The product is almost odour free and is non-corrosive towards metals. After application, the product forms a tough plastic elastic rubber by evaporation of water from the sealant.Indoor joints with fire retardant requirements (joints between walls and ceiling, joints around pipe and cable work, perimeter sealing of fire-rated doors and windows). It has good adhesion on most construction materials (concrete, bricks, painted wood, aluminium, etc.
