The flowers of this grass are used to extract the oil for commercial purposes. Oil Properties Dark amber to light brown viscous liquid with a spicy, earthy, wood-like scent. Uses Thid oil is used in perfumes, soaps, medicine and incense sticks. It is also used as an insect repellent. Blends Well With Bergamot, Clary Sage, Labdanum and Patchouli. Summary Oil of nagarmotha is extracted by steam distillation of flowers that is utilized in the manufacturing of perfumery compounds, soaps, cosmetics and incense sticks {agarbatti}. Cypriol Oil is also used as fixative and in aromatherapy. Smell of nagarmotha oil is woody, earthy and quite lingering.
