General Features of Platinum Cured Silicone Tubing's Ø Manufactured from the highest level of Silicone rubber Pharmaceutical application.Ø Conforms to USP Class VI requirement & FDA 21 CFR 177.2600.Ø Temperature resistant from -80oC to +250oC (-110oF to 480 oF).Ø The percentage of extraction level is extremely low when it comes contact with injectable liquids.Ø It gives the highest mechanical strength, tensile strength and even Tear strength.Ø High level of transparency.Ø Extremely safe to use in injectable liquids because the level of extraction is extremely low.Ø There is absolutely no bi-products during vulcanization stage.Ø Outstanding Biocompatibility, subject to 14 qualification tests including Cytotoxicity & heavy metal testing.Ø Non reactive to body tissue and fluid.Ø Non-adherence to tissue.Ø Unaffected by most water soluble materials.Ø Sterilisable by steam, dry heat, ethylene oxide (ET)) and gamma radiation.Ø Resists oxidation, ozone and radiation.,Ø Indefinite shelf life.Ø Does not support bacterial growth.Ø Available in sizes from 0.3 mm ID to 100mm ID.
