Fosroc Auramix 400 Superplasticizer Admixture (Note: Auramix 350 is a closely related product in the same Auramix range of high-performance concrete admixtures by Fosroc.)What It Is Fosroc Auramix 350 is a high-performance superplasticizer admixture for concrete based on polycarboxylic ether (PCE) polymer technology. It is designed to reduce water demand, improve workability retention, and enhance the overall performance of concrete mixes.It is supplied as a light brown liquid that disperses easily in water and the concrete mix. Key Characteristics Superplasticizer with Retarding Effect: Acts as a high-range water reducer and retarder, improving flow without adding extra water or cement. PCE Technology: Polycarboxylic ether polymers with long lateral chains help disperse cement particles effectively, increasing hydration efficiency. Low Viscosity: Easy to pump concrete to greater heights and suitable for high-workability mixes. Compliant Standards: Meets Indian standard IS:9103-1999 for water-reducing admixtures and, depending on dosage, can comply with ASTM C494 Type F and Type G. How It Works Auramix 350 improves concrete by electrostatically dispersing cement particles, which: Reduces the water-cement ratio required for a given workability. Supplied in drums (e.g., 200 kg) or in bulk. Storage & Shelf Life Store within 2 °C to 50 °C to retain effectiveness. Shelf life ~12 months under proper conditions.
