Ensure that surface is only dampduring application of Brushcrete coating.. In no case thereshould be standing water or a shiny wet surface.Depressions are fi lled and leveled using Brushcrete. For fi lling,the mixing ratio is 1 kg cement:1.5 by silica sand and 0.5 kgBrushcrete.MixingBrushcrete Polymer is mixed with neat cement in the ratio of100 kg cement:50 kg of Brushcrete. The mix has to be stirredthoroughly until no air bubbles remain in the mix. Any lumpfound in the mix should be removed.ApplicationThe mix has to be applied by brush on rendered sound preparedsurface. Two or more coats are recommended. First coat shouldbe allowed to dry for 5-6 hours. The surface should be madewet before application in case of porous substrates.equipment immediately after use with clean water. Hardenedmaterial can be removed mechanically.CuringDuring the fi rst 12 hours of curing, it must be protected fromabrasion, rain and other adverse conditions. No traffi c shall beallowed on a Brushcrete treated surface within 48 hours afterapplication. After application of fi nal coat of Brushcrete, initialair drying shall be done for 2-6 hours. During this period no
