Superior sealing system for pipe and utility penetration. Description Nitoband TPE Collar is a special prefabricated gasket for sealing of pipe and utility penetration made of non-woven fabric on both sides with Thermoplastic elastomeric (TPE) membrane in the center which is highly fl exible. Nitoband TPE Collar is available in diff erent diameters to facilitate detailing of diff erent penetrations. Nitoband TPE Collar is highly resistant on hydrostatic pressure and vapor permeable, tear proof and chemical resistant. Very good behaviour on temperature diff erences. Applications ■ For permanent sealing of pipe and utility penetrations through walls and fl oors in common with mostly all liquid applied waterproofi ng membranes ■ Can be used underneath ceramic tiles and natural stones in outdoor or indoor construction like bathrooms, showers, balconies, terraces etc. Speciation Clause Where required, all pipe and utility penetrations are to be waterproofed using Nitoband TPE Collar flexible permanent sealing prefabricated gasket system with non-woven fabric on both sides with Thermoplastic elastomeric (TPE) membrane in the center. To be used with Nitoband TPE and liquid applied waterproofing membrane. The Nitoband TPE and Nitoband TPE Collar System meets the performance criteria and are approved products Installation Step 1: Pipes penetration needs to be cleaned with suitable means before application of liquid applied waterproofing membrane.
