A sponge gasket is a soft, compressible sealing material made from foam-like rubber, such as EPDM, silicone, or neoprene. It's designed to fill gaps, cushion parts, and prevent leaks of air, dust, water, or noise between two surfaces.
Because of its spongy structure, it easily compresses and returns to shape, making it ideal for irregular surfaces or low-pressure sealing.
