SUEZ water membranes were originally developed by GE Water & Process Technologies, which SUEZ acquired in 2017. These high-performance membranes are typically of the spiral-wound design and are used for a wide range of industrial, municipal, and commercial water purification applications. Primary technologies Reverse Osmosis (RO): SUEZ offers the popular AG and AK series, designed for high-rejection filtration. They are made from thin-film nanocomposite (TFN) material and are used for treating brackish water, seawater desalination, and wastewater reuse. Ultrafiltration (UF): The ZeeWeed hollow-fiber UF membranes are an advanced GE legacy technology. They are known for their high-quality filtration, small footprint, and low energy consumption, making them suitable for municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment. Nanofiltration (NF) and Microfiltration (MF): SUEZ also offers a wide range of NF and MF membranes, including the DK, DL, and JX series, for applications such as water softening, stream clarification, and industrial processing.
