GI Color Coated Coil refers to Galvanized Iron (GI) coils that are coated with a layer of color (usually polyester, PVC, or polyurethane) on top of the zinc-coated steel. This process is commonly known as color coating or pre-painted steel. The base steel is first galvanized (zinc-coated) to enhance its corrosion resistance, and then a layer of color or protective coating is applied to improve its aesthetic appeal and further enhance its durability.
