Product Details
Stainless steel tanged graphite is manufactured from expanded graphite foil reinforced with one or more insertions of tanged 0.10mm thick stainless steel. It is commonly used as a gasket material in steam system applications, the petrochemical and chemical industries and as flange gaskets for piping and machinery. Key Features Temperature: -200°C up to +500°C (intermittent, dry), -200°C up to +650°C (intermittent, steam). Max Pressure: 140 bar. Soft, flexible with high recovery and no ageing. Impermeable to gases and liquids, inert, resistant to radiation and excellent resistance to thermal shock. Low coefficient of friction, long term stability and excellent residual stress.
