They work by allowing the product to roll along the upper surface.Gravity conveyors may be used to move boxes, cartons and totes with firm, rigid bottoms. Roller or skatewheel sizes as well as spacing will vary.There are two basic types of conveyors: powered and gravity. Powered conveyors have some sort of external energy source to keep the items on the conveyor moving, typically by manipulating the conveyor surface.The conveyor rollers are powered by belts, chains, or O-rings depending on the load.
