36 GBM diamond saw chain : Specially developed for the GS 461, with pre-sharpened diamond segments for wet stone cutting. The chain delivers top performance from the very first cut, for quickly and smoothly cutting concrete, hard stone, brick and ductile cast iron pipes.
GUIDE BAR WITH WATER SUPPLY :  REDUCES DUST LOAD AND PROTECTS THE MATERIAL. The guide bar with internal water flushing reduces dust when working with your concrete cutter. The chain, the groove in the guide bar and the sprocket nose are washed and cooled in this process. This also extends the service life of the bar and chain.
STIHL ElastoStart :  STIHL ElastoStart is a special starter handle which ensures a smooth starting process without any sudden peak forces. The integral damper smooths the power profile that is generated during starting and makes the starting process a lot easier.
STIHL 2-MIX Engine : The STIHL GS 461 features a modern, low-emission STIHL 2-MIX engine. Depending on how the machine is used, 2-MIX engines consume up to 20% less fuel compared to STIHL 2-stroke engines of the same performance class without 2-MIX technology. The 2-MIX engine also delivers great performance with high torque over a wide rpm range.
RUBBER GUARD : PROTECTS THE ENGINE CASING AGAINST DAMAGE. For wall cuts using full immersion depth, the large rubber guard protects the engine casing of your concrete cutter against wear.
WATER MANAGEMENT INTEGRATED IN SPROCKET COVER :  FOR OPTIMISED WATER CONSUMPTION. Water management of the flushing water for your concrete cutter is integrated in the sprocket cover. The water is diverted here and fed back into the kerf so that flushing losses are minimised.
Side chain tensioning : Allowing the chain and tension of the chain to be easily changed.
Water connection : The water connection fitting is located on the tool and is raised slightly, making it easy to connect the tool to a water source. The water serves to suppress dust, as well as to cool, clean and lubricate the bar and chain.
Decompression valve : The decompression valve allows the starter rope of the machine to be pulled more easily, ensuring that the operator is able to start the machine comfortably.
STIHL Anti-Vibrational System : The STIHL anti-vibration system reduces the transmission of engine vibrations. This therefore reduces the strain on your back muscles.
Long-life air filter system : The long-life air filter system with HD2 filter and additional filter catches even the finest particles and prevents dust from entering the tool. It protects the engine against wear, so that the tool requires only infrequent servicing.
Tool-less fuel cap :  The bayonet fuel cap allows the fuel tank to be opened and closed easily and without using tools, and also prevents dust getting in.
