Handmade wool felt sheets, totally hand crafted felt 100% wool fibers and eco friendly,used for industrial and craft workWoollen Felt (Namda) Description: A textile material made of fibers that are physically interlocked using the natural felting property of wool. Process: Created through a combination of mechanical work, chemical action, moisture, and heat. Key Distinction: It is produced without weaving, knitting, stitching, thermal bonding, or adhesives. 2. Proof Woollen FeltThis refers to felt treated with specific agents to enhance durability and resistance: Insect and Moth Resistance: Treated with 2,4 dinitro-alphanaphthol. Rot Resistance: Treated with copper naphthenate. Requirement: The impregnation must be uniform throughout the cross-section of the felt. 3. Needle Punching Felt Technique: A "dry" felting method that doesn't use water. Mechanism: Special barbed needles (used individually or in small groups) catch the scales of the wool fibers, pushing them through layers to tangle and bind them together. Usage: Often used as a fiber arts craft or as a sculpting tool for artists. 4. Material-Specific Felts Jute, Cotton & Synthetic Felt: These are manufactured upon request (the text notes a minimum order of 5000 kg).
