Hastelloy Alloy C22 Fasteners is a versatile grade having the composition of chromium, nickel, molybdenum and tungsten alloy. These are designed to offer enhanced resistivity to pitting, stress corrosion cracking (SSC) and crevice corrosion cracking. It has higher chromium content that offers good resistance to oxidizing media. The presence of molybdenum and tungsten provide good resistance to reducing media. Its nickel content offers admirable resistance to oxidizing aqueous media. These fasters also perform well-wet chlorine, formic and acetic acid containing environments. Alloy C22 Fasteners offer long lasting service in both organic and inorganic compounds containing conditions. These fasteners offer greater resistance to environments where the environments contain pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion cracking issue.
