The Die corresponds in size and shape to the Punch and is secured directly beneath the Punch. The Punch is usually, hydraulically driven to meet the Die.Die Cutting is a means by which custom-shaped parts can be converted from sheets of base materials by imprinting under pressure the shape of the part made by a tool known as a Die.A punch press is a type of machine press used to cut holes in material.
