The Hemisphere Vega™ 60 GNSS Compass Board, offered by Xtragen Technologies Pvt. Ltd., is a state-of-the-art dual-antenna GNSS module designed for high-precision heading, positioning, and timing applications. Built with Hemisphere's Athena™ RTK engine and Atlas® L-band correction services, the Vega 60 delivers unmatched accuracy, reliability, and scalability for demanding industrial, marine, UAV, and surveying applications. This compact, lightweight board supports multi-frequency, multi-constellation GNSS signals including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS, and NavIC (IRNSS), ensuring robust performance even in challenging environments. With dual-antenna ports, it provides fast and accurate heading over short baselines, while also enabling RTK-enabled heave measurements with up to 5 cm RMS accuracy. The Vega 60 is engineered for scalable solutions—users can start with single-frequency positioning and upgrade to full multi-frequency RTK performance as requirements grow. It also supports Atlas® correction services, delivering accuracy from sub-meter to 4 cm RMS, making it ideal for both entry-level and advanced applications. Key performance highlights include: Extremely accurate heading: 0.16° RMS @ 0.5 m antenna separation, improving to 0.02° RMS @ 5 m separation. RTK positioning accuracy: 8 mm + 1 ppm horizontal, 15 mm + 2 ppm vertical. Heave accuracy: 30 cm RMS (DGNSS), 5 cm RMS (RTK). Update rate: 10 Hz standard (up to 20 Hz optional). Timing precision: 20 ns accuracy with PPS output. Strong multipath rejection and Cygnus™ interference mitigation for reliable operation in dense environments. Integrated multi-axis gyro and tilt sensors for smooth heading reacquisition and stability during GNSS outages. The board is designed with ease of migration in mind, featuring a 60-pin industry-standard form factor for seamless integration and upgradeability from other modules. It offers multiple communication interfaces including 5x CMOS ports, USB host/device, Ethernet, CAN bus (NMEA2000, ISO 11783), PPS outputs, and event inputs, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of systems. With low power consumption (<2.5 W), rugged environmental tolerance (-40°C to +85°C), and compliance with CE, FCC, and CISPR 22 standards, the Vega 60 is built for long-term, reliable deployment in mission-critical applications.
