High-mast lighting is a tall pole with lighting attached to the top pointing towards the ground, usually but not always used to light a highway or recreational field. It is used at sites that require lighting over a large area.High mast lighting is a type of site light fixture that is commonly used to illuminate large areas from a very high mounting height for storage, transportation, and pedestrian use and safety. High mast fixtures are typically mounted on poles 40 feet to 150 feet tall, with four to 16 fixtures mounted on each pole.High-Mast Tower (HMT) foundations have been traditionally designed and constructed using cast-in-place foundation with anchor bolts that are used to secure the tower to the foundation. This type of design requires a base plate that is welded to the tower shaft, means a white light placed over the fore and aft centreline of the vessel showing an unbroken light over an arc of the horizon of 225° and so fixed as to show the light from right ahead to 22.5° abaft the beam on either side of the vessel.Extended and Collapsed Height: The extended height of a forklift mast is the distance from the floor to the top of the mast (or load backrest) when fully extended. This is different than lift height, which is measured from the forks to the floor, Common mast sizes are 370, 400, 430 and 460 centimeters.
