Horizontal Form-Fill-Seal is a piece of equipment that both produces a pouch from roll stock film and spout and cap assemblies, and fills it in the same operation. The film or laminate travels through the machine in a horizontal direction, which gives the machine the “horizontal” description.In VFFS machine, the set film roll is fed to the forming section, and sealed the back side and bottom of the formed film, and then the contents are filled. After sealing the top of the film and cut it, the product completes as pillow bag at last.Vertical packaging machines use a single sheet of film material rolled around a core, usually referred to as rollstock. The continuous length of packaging material is referred to as the film web. This material can vary from polyethylene, cellophane laminates, foil laminates and paper laminates.
