The treatment process typically includes screening, equalization, chemical treatment, biological treatment (MBBR/SAFF/SBR), clarification, filtration, and sludge handling to achieve CPCB/SPCB discharge standards. Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants (STP) Municipal Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) are designed to treat domestic sewage from residential colonies, townships, hotels, hospitals, and commercial complexes. These plants reduce organic load, pathogens, and suspended solids using primary, secondary, and tertiary treatment processes. Treated water can be reused for gardening, flushing, cooling towers, and groundwater recharge, promoting water conservation.
